Our city is turning 370 years old this year with celebrations
throughout the year, culminating during the first week of September and in the main celebration on 7 September 2019.

Lappeenranta City Centre – LAKES ry organises four commercial events per year: Spring Party – spring carnival, art@bars – culture in bars, Fashion by Night – a nocturnal fashion event and Magic by Christmas – the magic of Christmas in the city centre. In addition, the association organises a Christmas church event for city centre entrepreneurs and employees in cooperation with the congregation of Lappeenranta. LAKES ry also cooperates with various event organisers.
